A Gift of Socks

For the months of December and January the Rotary Club of Innisfil is doing something with a twist. Normally we bring monthly food bank items throughout the year, however it was brought to the attention of our Sgt-at-Arms that there is a great need for socks. Yes socks! The Innisfil Community Church, Free Clothing Store, has a need for socks, both adult and childrens'. At the end of January the store opens up to the poor and needy people of Innisfil, and it is free. Please keep their tender tootsie's warm by helping us with our Rotary Sock Drive.
How can you do this? Check out your sock drawer! You may have new or gently used socks that don't suit your needs or no longer wear. This will give you a great opportunity to free up some drawer space. You may also want to donate new socks. They can be white socks, colourful socks, short socks, knee socks. Socks with toes and and sock with no holes!
Please bring your donations to the meetings or arrange for one of our Rotarian to drop by and pick them up. You can email rotaryinnisfil@gmail.com to arrange pickup.
